7UP Christmas on Ice

The 7UP Christmas on Ice will run from 14th November 2008 until 11th January 2009 at the RDS and until 4th January at Liffey Valley. It provides a wonderful ice-skating experience in a totally covered rink to protect skaters from the winter elements. It is a lovely thing to do with children and there are separate beginner and kiddie rinks for those of us who are not very confident on the ice.

Saturday Family Programme, The National Gallery of Ireland

The National Gallery of Ireland are running a Saturday Family Programme throughout November. The programme is free and is suitable for adults with children aged between 4 and 10. The programme runs from 3.00 to 4.00pm every Saturday and includes activities such as storytelling, music, poetry and drama. Numbers are limited to 70 on a first-come first-served basis.
